Despite the fact that with all the drive, dedication and many hours of volunteer work we managed to hold the composition and conducting competition, unfortunately we received insufficient funds in the tenders to be able to cover the implementation of the entire structure of the four competitions and accompanying events within the framework of the Aegis carminis 2023 festival.
Due to the current financial situation, we are unfortunately forced to cancel the Aegis carminis 2023 choral and solo singing competition.
We sincerely thank everyone who has put a lot of effort into making the events so far. Thank you to everyone who showed support for the festival by participating. We believe that in the next live edition we will once again create an extraordinary festival and create new unforgettable memories and forge new friendships.
Despite the cancellation of the choral and solo singing competition, we will still hold the SLOVENIAN MUSIC FROM NEAR AND FAR online concert. Therefore, we once again invite all choirs (does not apply to Slovenian ensembles) to send their performances of Slovenian composers and help co-create the online concert. DATE FOR SENDING THE VIDEOS AND APPLY FOR THE CONCERT IS PROLONGED TILL OCTOBER 1ST 2023.
We are still looking for different options regarding the possibility of holding a solo singers' concert.
